Ms Wallis and Mrs large greeted many book characters coming to school on World Book Day (5th March 2020). The children looked fantastic, as characters from well known books, old and new, many of which were the same books the children encapsulated in their dioramas.
Well done to children, families and staff for making the day such a celebration of books and reading, and such fun! Thanks as well to Mrs Lockwood, our Literacy Coordinator, for organising such a special week of reading related activities.
There will be prizes given during Celebration Assembly to everyone who made a diorama, and a special prize to one child in each class who have shown unique ways to represent the worlds of their chosen books.
