Owls Class study the Digestive System

In their first science lesson this half term, Owls class were looking at the first stage of the digestive system - the mouth.

The children used discussion, mirrors and their tongues to investigate the bottom row of their own teeth. Then they modelled them out of clay, identifying the molars, canines and incisors.

They described the features of the different teeth and identified their purposes.
