KS2 Cross Country Success

6th October 2016

Some of our Key Stage 2 children have just participated in a cross country run against over 250 other children at King Edward School.

Children in Years 3 and 4 ran a 1 mile course and Years 5 and 6 ran 2 miles.

There were some excellent results in both races and the children all showed a great deal of determination to finish the race.

Miss Kiddy, our PE Co-ordinator is delighted to report that Great Whelnetham came 5th out of the 11 schools that took part in the Year 3 and 4 events and 7th overall in the Years’ 5 and 6 races.

Well done to everyone who took part!
