African Dance & Drumming Day

We are delighted to be welcoming the Zamble African Dance Company to our school on Tuesday 21st May.

 

Workshops for each class will commence with a warm up using traditional African moves, moving on to learning traditional dance as well as learning about the drums, their rhythms and cues and also about West Africa and its culture.

 

There will also be an assembly performance, featuring a demonstration from the artists but to also include the children.
