Year 6 Fitzwillilam Museum, Cambridge Visit

On Weds 15th January, Swans class went for an exciting trip to the world-renowned Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge to complement their Ancient Greeks topic.  They enjoyed a workshop with one of the museum's experts on Greek history, learnt a huge amount about their life and beliefs, and saw a range of genuine objects and statues, some of which were nearly 3,000 years old!  The children had a great time and can now put their knowledge to good use as they create their own gods and myths in English lessons!
