Year 4 have been learning about All Living Things in Science. As part of classifying animals we looked at the differences between vertebrates or invertebrates. We then went on an invertebrate hunt in our local environment, to see what we could find, and then use keys to identify them.
Whilst learning about equivalent fractions, Year 4 related equivalents to real life by dividing a piece of bread into equal parts. We investigated equivalents for a half and used the evidence to come up with a pattern for predicting other equivalents.
