Pupils in Years 3 and 4 will be enjoying a trip to the Farm Fair on 23rd April 2020.
The fair enables pupils and teachers to experience many different aspects of farming, food production and the countryside through demonstrations and interactive 'hands on' exhibits.
Farming covers many different subject areas of the National Curriculum and the day enables pupils the opportunity to plant seeds, learn how sugar and rapeseed oil are produced, how potatoes and other vegetables are grown and are able to touch farm animals.
The day is structured around zones including Food, STEM, Conservation and a new Health & Well being zone which will focus on 'Good food that fuels our bodies'.
It promises to be an action-packed fun-filled day!
