Today in Robins we used some drama techniques as the hook into our new English unit of work ‘Stories by the same authors’. Here is just a bit of a background into the photos attached.
We are using the text ‘Angry Arthur’ and I started by up- ending the classroom after ‘getting angry with my computer’ the children were shocked by this, this led into still image activities about times they felt angry which in turn led us nicely into the book where we created our own improvisations and ended with a ‘Corridor of Thought’ giving Arthur advice as to how he can stop getting so angry next time.
