Home Learning

We have created this page to support our families who are learning at home as a result Covid-19.

We will be using Google Classroom as our main learning platform.  Your child has their own login details and the log on page can be found by clicking the link below.

Our Remote Learning Policy can be accessed here.
Information on our Remote Education Provision can be accessed here.

Your child's class teacher will upload a weekly timetable of the learning planned for the coming week.  Your child will have an English, Maths and Topic assignment, with teaching videos and resources attached, for them to complete each day.

Each year group will have live lessons each week with their class teacher.  These sessions are to provide feedback on learning that has already been completed, discussion about upcoming work and to go through any concepts that the children may have found challenging and need additional support.  Most importantly, it provides all children the opportunity to have face to face contact with their teacher and peers.  This is very important in supporting their mental health.

Please see below a link to a very helpful tutorial on using Google Classrooms created by a teacher within our MAT.

There are also some helpful links below to websites which will support child learning at home:

Each child has a login to use the Purple Mash website. This brilliant learning platform has thousands of educational activities and the teachers set '2do' tasks for children to complete. If there is work to complete on Purple Mash it will be shown on Google Classroom as a link.

Spelling Frame (Year 1 -6) is a great website, it's free and you can practise all of the spelling patterns included in the National Curriculum through fun games and activities:
