Code Club

Code Club is a fun lunchtime computer club for Y5/6 children with the aim of teaching them how to program.  The club uses a programming language called Scratch to create games.  Scratch has been especially designed for children to use by MIT.

As well as the Scratch program, we have also used the BBC Microbit (a programmable device) and Windows Movie Maker to produce films.

Mrs Dunn says...
"Whilst the children enjoy using the ready-made projects from the Scratch website, they also love the opportunity to use the coding skills they have developed to create their own games using their own ideas."
