Church Inspection

Church schools are inspected under the SIAMS regulations. These inspections take place every 3 to 5 years - the actual frequency is governed by the outcome of the previous inspection.

Great Whelnetham CEVCP School was last inspected in January 2013 and we were rated Outstanding under the following headings:
  • The distinctiveness and effectiveness of Great Whelnetham as a Church of England school
  • The school, through its distinctive Christian character meets the needs of all learners
  • The impact of collective worship on the school community
  • The effectiveness of the leadership and management of the school as a church school.
